Stan Radio 21: Dubwise Vinyl
Share
Tom Roebuck, a.k.a. Dubwise Vinyl, is a DJ, collector and writer based in Essex, UK. He started the Dubwise Vinyl Instagram blog a couple of years ago as a way of sharing some of his favourite records and uses dub as the central theme to unite and link the music he features. As well as running Dubwise Vinyl he also writes a regular column for Test Pressing and puts mixes together including this one he did for us which he describes as follows:
“In terms of selecting records for the mix I ended up going through my recent purchases and things I’ve been listening to on a regular basis and took my selections from that. It’s ended up containing quite a lot of UK dub which wasn’t a deliberate decision but it obviously shows that I’ve been buying and listening to a lot of that kind of stuff recently. The music included in the mix spans a few decades and switches between Jamaica and the UK so hopefully there’s an interesting variety of styles that shows how dub’s developed over the years.”
Love this mix! Thanks Tom!
